Governance, Risk and Control Assurance Senior Analyst

What you will do

• Support first-line assurance activities, including control testing, evidence reviews, and control effectiveness analysis.
• Contribute to assurance planning by reviewing risk assessments, incidents, issues, audit findings, and other risk indicators.
• Plan, execute, and document control testing engagements, defining scope, evidence requirements, and conclusions.
• Apply assurance methodologies and standards consistently across testing and review activities.
• Use data, analytical techniques, and technology-enabled tools to improve assurance efficiency and coverage.
• Identify control weaknesses and trends, produce governance reports, and support remediation tracking and stakeholder oversight.

Requirements

• Experience in assurance, audit, compliance monitoring, controls testing, or risk management.
• Understanding of control frameworks in financial services environments.
• Knowledge of assurance testing methodologies, evidence assessment, and findings documentation.
• Ability to analyse data and identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Experience with issue management, remediation tracking, and governance reporting.
• Strong communication, organisation, stakeholder management, and prioritisation skills.
