VSS & PACS Installation Lead Technician (ROAD WARRIOR) (clearable) (Security Systems)

Location: Remote, with approximately 90% travel across the DSW region of Arizona, California, and Nevada; conditions listed as Yuma, Arizona. Must be a US citizen and able to pass a government background check.

What you will do

• Lead execution of assigned physical access control and video surveillance installation projects.
• Develop project schedules and coordinate scope, procurement, materials, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Manage installation teams working in remote locations.
• Install, maintain, test, and troubleshoot electronic and technical security systems in accordance with Department of Energy guidelines.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, construction plans, maintenance manuals, and blueprints.
• Prepare site test data and documentation while using multimeters, cable testers, and other test equipment.

Requirements

• US citizenship and eligibility to pass financial, credit, and criminal background checks are required.
• At least 10 years of progressive technical experience, including leadership of PACS and VSS installations.
• Experience leading teams, managing schedules and personnel, and working independently with limited supervision.
• Hands-on experience with intrusion detection, access control, video surveillance, intercom, mass notification, conduit, and low-voltage electrical systems.
• Knowledge of NEC requirements, grounding, electrical safety, security wiring, and power circuits.
• Current passport, valid driver’s license, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.

Nice to have

• Milestone Certified Integration Technician (MCIT) certification.
• Low-voltage license.
• Bachelor’s degree.
