VDC QA/QC Manager, Electrical

Location: Remote within the United States; US work authorization required

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 per year, plus bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Design and implement standardized BIM QA/QC frameworks, workflows, review gates, and quality benchmarks across offices and projects.
• Lead model audits, clash detection, constructability reviews, and validation of construction-ready federated models.
• Ensure compliance with LOD/LOI requirements, naming conventions, data standards, and BIM workflows.
• Mentor and train BIM coordinators and modelers on QA/QC practices and improve performance across global teams.
• Develop QA/QC dashboards and reporting to track quality metrics, trends, first-pass approvals, rework, and clashes.
• Implement AI, automation, and rule-based checking tools to improve accuracy, scalability, and efficiency.

Requirements

• 7+ years of BIM/VDC experience with strong knowledge of electrical systems and construction practices.
• Expert proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks for model authoring, auditing, and clash detection.
• Experience auditing federated models for accuracy, constructability, compliance, LOD/LOI, naming conventions, and BIM standards.
• Experience building and enforcing QA/QC frameworks, checklists, and reporting dashboards across multiple teams or offices.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, including coaching modelers and collaborating with project managers, leads, and field teams.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of ISO 19650, BEP, EIR, and CDE workflows.
