Network & Computer Systems Administrator, Journeyman (Cybersecurity)

Location: Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, United States. Full-time, on-site role with 10% travel.

What you will do

• Assemble, configure, and deploy workstations with KVM switches, secure networks, and peripheral equipment.
• Deploy baseline operating system configurations, perform system imaging, and apply security patches to Windows and Linux servers, workstations, and laptops.
• Manage user accounts, folder permissions, security groups, and distribution lists using Active Directory and Directory Resource Administrator.
• Provide Tier I and Tier II in-person and remote technical support for access, software, and hardware issues.
• Configure and troubleshoot secure communications, including vIPer phones, STU III/STE systems, and secure iPhone profiles.
• Track IT equipment and software licenses, support compliant transfers and destruction, and act as a Cyber Security Liaison for RMF and COMSEC compliance.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• DoD 8140 / 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification required, such as Security+ CE, GSEC, CCNA-Security, or an equivalent certification.
• Associate's degree in a relevant field plus 7 years of relevant experience, or qualifying combinations of degree, experience, and active IAT Level II certification.
• Degree and professional experience must be directly relevant to Information Systems and Network Administration.
• Certification to support network operations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Active Directory, Directory Resource Administrator, IAO Express, and secure mobile device management.
• Hands-on experience with KVM switches, cabling, peripheral integration, system imaging, and baseline OS deployment.
• Experience configuring secure communication terminals, including vIPer phones and SVOIP/STE systems.
• Ability to conduct independent technical research and troubleshoot complex anomalies.
