Supply Planning Intern (MedTech)

Location: Zuchwil, Switzerland; full-time, 9-month internship with occasional travel to manufacturing sites.

What you will do

• Support supply planners with weekly performance reports and weekly and monthly planning activities.
• Contribute to supply network planning and inventory optimization processes.
• Collect and analyze data, develop models and dashboards, and provide insights for strategic decisions.
• Drive scenario planning and develop recommendations involving supply parameters such as lot size and lead time.
• Assess financial and inventory impacts through data visualization.
• Contribute to workstream projects that improve supply network planning maturity.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's, PhD program, or equivalent, and actively pursuing studies.
• Availability to work full-time for a 9-month internship in Zuchwil, Switzerland, with some flexibility based on study requirements.
• Confident English communication, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a strong affinity for working with data.
• Willingness to learn, collaborate across company functions, take ownership, and deliver projects from idea through implementation.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Alteryx or Power BI.
• Exposure to ERP systems, mainly SAP.
• Understanding of planning tools such as OMP, Kinaxis, or APO.
• Knowledge of German and/or French.
• Education or previous experience in Supply Chain Management; APICS, Green Belt, or Project Management certification.
