What you will do
- Own operations planning and shop-floor scheduling for Manufacturing Complex 2, a 6 × 20kL mammalian production bioreactor facility.
- Develop integrated short-, medium-, and long-term plans covering production, maintenance, resources, materials, plant, and equipment availability.
- Develop and maintain the Summary Production Schedule based on supply chain demand planning and the Master Production Schedule.
- Coordinate planning requirements across procurement, production, quality, maintenance, engineering, global engineering, and site services.
- Anticipate supply bottlenecks and develop mitigation strategies, including capacity recommendations.
- Improve planning accuracy and maintain the scheduling system, including user training and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain, biotechnology, or an equivalent qualification.
- Professional experience in a GMP production environment; biologics shop-floor experience is advantageous.
- Business-proficient English required; German is an advantage.
- Expert knowledge of SAP ERP/MRP and MES systems such as Syncade.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially MS Project.
- Several years of supply planning experience in pharmaceuticals or biotechnology and experience with scheduling or capacity optimization are advantageous.
Nice to have
- Experience with Orchestrate, Schedule Pro, Aspen planning, or comparable planning software.
- Experience in large-scale biologics operations and supply planning in pharmaceuticals or biotechnology.
