Principal Engineer

What you will do

• Define and communicate target architecture strategies and roadmaps for platform modernization, consolidation, and rationalization.
• Align technology initiatives with business priorities and measurable customer outcomes.
• Lead architecture reviews, solution design, technology decisions, standards, and governance.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and support data, analytics, AI, and automation initiatives.
• Develop scalable, secure, and reusable architecture patterns across cloud, data, applications, platforms, and integrations.
• Mentor senior engineers and technical leads while partnering with Product, Engineering, Data, Security, and Business teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 12+ years of experience in enterprise, solution development, or domain architecture, including complex distributed and data-intensive systems.
• Practical engineering expertise with architecture reviews, design and code reviews, implementation trade-offs, and operational delivery.
• Experience with technology transformation, governance, secure resilient multi-region cloud architecture, and modern API, event-driven, and distributed-system patterns.
• Experience with cloud, data processing, integration, messaging, analytics, and information-management technologies; Kafka, Spark, Airflow, Snowflake, Databricks, and Elasticsearch are beneficial.
• Understanding of AI, analytics, CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure as code, secure coding, observability, incident learning, and operational readiness, plus strong communication and problem-solving skills.
