Senior Snowflake Architect with AI Data Platform Expertise

Location: Bulgaria, Cyprus, Latvia, Poland, Romania, or Serbia. Occasional travel to client sites, including locations in Europe, may be required for short onsite visits of one to two weeks. A valid US work visa or the ability to obtain one within a reasonable timeframe is required.

What you will do

• Assess the overall data ecosystem and data platform strategy.
• Lead discovery activities with stakeholders and challenge existing approaches constructively.
• Present strategic initiatives and recommendations to leadership.
• Support Snowflake architecture decisions and improve platform scaling, governance, cost, and performance.
• Contribute to data lake or lakehouse design, data modelling, and data quality practices.
• Apply AI and GenAI capabilities on top of the data platform.

Requirements

• Deep hands-on expertise with Snowflake and its architecture.
• Experience with scaling, cost and performance optimization, best practices, and governance.
• Experience designing data platforms, data lakes, or lakehouses.
• Experience with data modelling and data quality.
• Practical experience applying AI or GenAI to data platforms.
• Strong stakeholder-facing communication skills, including discovery workshops and leadership presentations.
