Technical Cloud Architect (GCP)

Location: Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, or Germany. Work type: Remote or office.

What you will do

• Lead application, data, infrastructure, and hybrid cloud architecture decisions.
• Design, build, and maintain complex solutions on Google Cloud Platform, AWS, and Microsoft Azure.
• Guide engineering teams through solution implementation, architecture governance, estimation, and roadmap planning.
• Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Develop highly available, fault-tolerant, secure, scalable, and cost-efficient distributed systems.
• Create monitoring, logging, observability, architecture documentation, technical specifications, and risk assessments while supporting workshops and technical pre-sales.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect, Solutions Architect, or in a similar senior technical role.
• Strong hands-on experience with GCP PaaS and IaaS services, plus AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Practical expertise in Kubernetes, containers, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Linux administration, and Python and/or Shell scripting.
• Experience managing SQL and NoSQL databases, configuration management tools, and highly available distributed systems.
• Ability to create architecture visions, technical specifications, and solution design documentation.
• Excellent written and spoken English is required. Strong stakeholder communication skills, including presentations to executive and C-level audiences, are expected.
