Area Manager - Floor (Fashion, Import, Jewelry, Regional, Returns, Sam's, HMSC)-5 (Logistics)

Location: Onsite at 2200 Manufacturers Blvd NE, Brookhaven, Mississippi 39601, United States

Salary: $65,500–$98,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses and possible regional pay zone compensation and stock.

What you will do

• Implement the business plan for the assigned area by communicating goals, managing staffing and schedules, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads.
• Monitor productivity by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports.
• Maintain quality and safety standards through associate training, policy compliance, and procedure management.
• Identify and resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns by consulting with relevant stakeholders.
• Supervise and develop associates and leaders through performance feedback, coaching, training, hiring, and evaluations.
• Build high-performing teams while promoting integrity, inclusion, collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field plus one year of supervisory experience; or a bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Alternatively, one year of Walmart Logistics Management experience, two years of Walmart Logistics experience, or two years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to manage staffing, scheduling, workloads, productivity, quality, and safety in a logistics facility.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and develop associates and leaders.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Office experience.
• Experience supervising associates.
• Walmart Logistics Manager experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Logistics.
