Area Manager - Floor (Logistics)

Location: Onsite at 9200 Alexander Rd, Olive Branch, Mississippi, United States. Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 PM–3:30 AM, with mandatory extra days during peak season.

Annual salary: $65,500–$98,000, plus performance-based bonuses and possible regional pay and stock compensation.

What you will do

• Implement the business plan for the assigned fulfillment area by setting goals, managing staffing and schedules, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads.
• Monitor productivity through operational reports and analysis while maintaining production, quality, and safety standards.
• Ensure associates are trained on logistics policies, procedures, and company standards, and monitor compliance.
• Supervise, coach, evaluate, and develop associates and leaders, including participation in hiring and promotion decisions.
• Identify associate, customer, and supplier concerns, determine corrective actions, and make recommendations to resolve issues.
• Drive collaboration, integrity, customer focus, data-informed decisions, and continuous improvement across the area of responsibility.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field plus one year of supervisory experience; or a bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Alternative qualification: one year of Walmart Logistics Management experience, two years of Walmart Logistics experience, or two years of supervisory experience.
• Successfully complete all required job training and assessments.
• Ability to work the specified evening schedule and mandatory additional days during peak season.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Office experience.
• Experience supervising associates and using Walmart Logistics Systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Logistics.
