Senior Technician, Facility Services General Maintenance

Location: On-site in Buffalo, Missouri, United States

Salary: $33.00–$63.00 per hour, with possible premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and major or minor repairs on facilities, equipment, and fixtures.
• Use multiple craft skills, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, and food equipment maintenance.
• Lead assigned work sites as a foreman, determine project scopes, oversee less-experienced associates, and provide hands-on technical training.
• Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, contractors, parts inventory, purchasing records, invoices, warranties, and budget information.
• Operate, inspect, and transport heavy machinery, powered equipment, and company vehicles while completing required safety checks.
• Ensure work meets Walmart quality standards and applicable federal, state, local, OSHA, EPA, and other safety requirements.

Requirements

• Vocational or technical certification plus 3 years of relevant experience, or 6 years of experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or a related field.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Commercial driving record with no recent DUI, DWI, or OUI convictions, serious traffic violations, or preventable commercial vehicle accidents.
• No more than two moving violations within the last three years.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

Nice to have

• Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, email, and presentation software.
• Prior experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Prior experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
