Production Management Trainee (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Build comprehensive knowledge of plant operations, company products, procedures, and manufacturing processes through on-the-job training.
• Learn Tube Laser, Flat Laser, and Press Brake operations, including material utilization, cuts, and yields.
• Develop knowledge of product costing, production scheduling, budgeting, and expense control.
• Learn to use the company business system for administrative functions and prepare required reports.
• Develop working knowledge of continuous improvement, efficiency standards, safety, and human resources practices.
• Tour other facilities and customer locations, complete assigned courses and assignments, and support supervision in line with company policies and applicable laws.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Alternatively, five years of experience in the metal fabrication industry.
• Three years of experience in high-volume manufacturing.
• Proficiency with MS Excel spreadsheets.
• Work onsite in Newnan, Georgia (Corinth).
