Project Superintendent

Location: Remote within the United States; projects supported in the Washington, DC, metropolitan area

Salary: $92,000–$134,000 per year, plus benefits and potential performance incentives.

What you will do

• Lead subcontractor field operations, construction management activities, site performance, and multiple concurrent project scopes.
• Coordinate project execution with project management, engineering, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Plan critical paths, sequencing, work plans, look-ahead schedules, and site logistics.
• Direct safe, timely, cost-effective, and contract-compliant installation of mechanical and electrical work.
• Lead pre-construction planning, constructability reviews, risk identification, and field issue resolution.
• Enforce safety, quality control, compliance, contract, procurement, and federal construction requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least five years of mechanical and electrical construction experience in complex commercial or government environments.
• Ability to review confidential US security information.
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, contract administration, manpower planning, cost control, building systems, OSHA standards, and federal construction requirements.
• Experience leading large-scale field operations, subcontractors, quality control, safety programs, and multiple concurrent scopes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and construction management tools.

Nice to have

• OSHA 30-hour Certification.
• Certified Quality Manager (CQM) Certification.
• Experience with complex government construction projects and demonstrated risk mitigation skills.
