Preconstruction Project Manager (Solar Infrastructure): Leading preconstruction delivery for utility-scale solar, battery storage, and high-voltage substation projects from notice of award through mobilization with an accent on cost control, procurement, scheduling, contract scopes, and owner coordination. Focus on negotiating EPC budgets, scopes, and schedules, managing project risks, and coordinating engineering, procurement, construction, accounting, and legal stakeholders.

Location: Remote within the United States; able to travel approximately 25%

Salary: $110,448–$138,060 per year

What you will do

  • Lead daily preconstruction management and coordinate project scope, budget, and schedule from notice of award through mobilization.
  • Maintain cost controls, forecasts, job cost statements, billings, project schedules, and project reporting.
  • Prepare bid packages, solicit and evaluate bids, coordinate procurement, and manage long-lead material releases.
  • Develop LNTPs, project procedures, contract scopes, and contract exhibits through execution.
  • Manage project risks, prepare mitigation plans, and track design changes affecting budget or schedule.
  • Represent hirify.global in owner meetings and support negotiations of final EPC budgets, scopes, and schedules.

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience.
  • 5–8 years of field experience and at least 5 years of construction experience.
  • At least 2 years of scheduling and estimating experience.
  • Strong understanding of plans and specifications, project accounting, contract law, and industry tools including Microsoft Office and Bluebeam Revu.
  • Leadership, communication, organizational, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills for managing distributed project teams.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.
