Materials Manager (Automotive)

hirify.global operates an automotive manufacturing facility requiring materials planning, supplier coordination, inventory control, and customer shipment management.

What you will do

• Establish and maintain Material Requirement Planning (MRP) parameters and related production software data.
• Control supplier releases, incoming shipments, receiving documents, inventory levels, material storage, movement, and customer shipments.
• Manage materials records, subordinate activities, performance reviews, training, and development.
• Maintain the Bill of Material database, implement engineering changes, and load new end items.
• Monitor supplier quality and delivery performance while maintaining customer relations.
• Reduce transportation, package handling, piece-price, and inventory costs, including obsolescence claims for balance-out parts.

Requirements

• Experience managing material planning and production software systems.
• Ability to maintain accurate materials records, inventory controls, supplier releases, and shipment documentation.
• Knowledge of Bill of Material database maintenance and effective-date implementation changes.
• Ability to monitor supplier compliance with quality and delivery standards.
• Ability to maintain compliance with company customs processes, BOS requirements, and TS requirements applicable to the position.
