Technical Product Owner (Quality Engineering)

Location: Atlanta, GA; local candidates must be available for in-person client engagements one to two times per week in a hybrid capacity.

Salary: $130,000 minimum base compensation annually.

What you will do

• Own the connective tissue between the quality engineering portfolio and its internal engineering customers.
• Lead structured discovery, translate ambiguous needs into requirements, and identify reusable platform opportunities.
• Own the QE backlog, including intake, refinement, prioritization, sequencing, and trade-off decisions.
• Define and continuously refine a 6 to 12 month product roadmap based on adoption signals and user feedback.
• Evangelize quality engineering tools, shift-left practices, and platform capabilities across engineering pods and business leadership.
• Run scrum ceremonies and delivery cadence while building trust with technical and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Local to Atlanta and genuinely willing to work in person at the client office one to two times per week.
• 8 or more years of experience in technical product ownership, systems analysis, technical program leadership, or a related business-engineering role.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and influencing skills across technical, business, leadership, and executive audiences.
• Experience evangelizing tools, platforms, or practices and driving measurable adoption across teams without direct authority.
• Technical credibility, comfort with engineering discussions, backlog management, prioritization, roadmap definition, and agile ceremonies.
• Must already have valid US employment authorization; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Degree, training, or certification in computer science or a related technical field.
• Exposure to test infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, performance and load testing, or developer platform tooling.
• Experience with platform engineering, developer experience, internal platform products, consulting, or client services.
