TL;DR
Senior Product Manager (Federal product platforms and APIs): Shaping product strategy and leading cross-functional delivery of scalable digital services for federal customers with an accent on platform products, enterprise integrations, APIs, and cloud-based delivery. Focus on roadmap and backlog prioritization, CI/CD collaboration, scalable onboarding, and improving adoption and reliability across customer organizations.
Location: Remote within the United States; must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Salary: $110,000–$140,000 per year

What you will do
- Define product vision, strategy, roadmaps, measurable outcomes, and strategic documentation with customers and Product Owners.
- Lead cross-functional teams through discovery, planning, delivery, release, and continuous improvement.
- Prioritize backlogs and platform investments based on customer value, mission objectives, technical constraints, and business goals.
- Partner with Engineering, UX, Business Analysis, and DevOps teams on delivery processes, CI/CD pipelines, release planning, deployment strategies, and operational reliability.
- Manage platform and API-driven products, enterprise integrations, shared services, APIs, and platform dependencies.
- Improve onboarding and self-service capabilities, build adoption partnerships, and mentor Product Managers while maturing product practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of Product Management experience; relevant experience may substitute for education.
- At least 1 year leading cross-functional teams including Engineering, UX, Business Analysis, and DevOps.
- Experience with product roadmaps, backlog management, prioritization, delivery blockers, and full product lifecycles.
- Experience in Agile environments using Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or similar methodologies.
- Experience with platform products, API products, enterprise integrations, or shared services, plus CI/CD and modern software delivery practices.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
Nice to have
- CSPO, CPM, CSM, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, or related Agile certification.
- Experience leading large product initiatives in complex enterprise or federal environments.
- Experience with cloud-native platforms, microservices architectures, enterprise integration patterns, scalable onboarding, and self-service capabilities.
- Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs or other Federal Civilian agencies.
