EPC Senior Superintendent (Utility Scale Solar)

Location: Full-time onsite jobsite in Groton, NY; travel required, with scheduled time off every 3 weeks.

Salary: $132,308–$172,000 per year

What you will do

• Supervise successful completion of assigned utility-scale solar construction projects as the primary onsite representative.
• Recruit, mentor, coach, and manage field staff, direct reports, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate owners, architects, subcontractors, internal teams, logistics, materials, schedules, and project support.
• Review drawings, specifications, submittals, punch lists, and constructability requirements; lead subcontractor meetings and inspections.
• Maintain CPM schedules, operational reports, daily logs, work orders, invoices, and progress updates for executive leadership.
• Support estimating teams with onsite insights for project cost estimates and proposals while enforcing safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience including two years as a superintendent.
• Eight years of supervisory field construction experience preferred, including three years in utility-scale solar projects preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of construction methods, regulations, and safety standards, including OSHA, NFPA 70E, and NEC.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, planning, expediting, cost control, all construction trades, and technical specifications.
• Valid driver’s license, willingness to travel, and ability to work onsite.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.
