Insurance Specialist (Renewals)

Location: Galway, Ireland

Salary: €30,000 without APA/CIP; €33,000 with APA; €35,000 with CIP, plus bonus and stated OTE potential.

What you will do

• Sell business insurance compliantly to existing commercial clients and recommend products based on a fair assessment of their needs.
• Manage renewals, retain existing policies, and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Act as an insurance broker and manage client accounts, including mid-term adjustments, administration, and finance arrangements.
• Provide customer service by phone and email, de-escalate complaints, and resolve client issues.
• Work with colleagues and insurers to build long-term relationships and support team development.
• Meet agreed targets and KPIs while completing required administrative and professional development activities.

Requirements

• APA or CIP qualification.
• Experience or capability in commercial insurance sales, renewals, and client account servicing.
• Ability to manage targets, KPIs, administration, and time effectively.
• Ability to communicate with clients, colleagues, and insurers by phone and email.
• Commitment to completing continuous professional development required by applicable regulation and legislation.
