Logistics Coordinator (Rail Logistics)

What you will do

• Authorize railcar releases and monitor approved quantities to prevent over-shipments.
• Verify product contents, destinations, and routing instructions for railcars.
• Divert railcars and create routing instructions for new destinations when required.
• Track monthly purchase orders and maintain operational records.
• Monitor railcar flows, asset usage charges, and cycle times.
• Prepare daily empty-railcar availability reports and coordinate with yard staff to meet shipping deadlines.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of logistics experience; rail logistics experience is an asset.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Word, and Excel.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, planning, coordination, monitoring, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, independently, and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Transportation, or Logistics is an asset.
