What you will do
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain high-speed food processing and packaging equipment.
- Diagnose and repair 120V–480V industrial electrical systems, PLC-controlled equipment, automation systems, and robotics.
- Support equipment reliability through proactive maintenance, root-cause analysis, and sustainable corrective actions.
- Read electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and OEM manuals while maintaining accurate maintenance records.
- Collaborate with operators, production teams, maintenance staff, engineering resources, and plant leadership.
- Support continuous improvement, Daily Direction Setting, 5S, and safe plant operations.
Requirements
- Strong electrical aptitude and experience troubleshooting industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Experience with 120V–480V electrical systems, PLCs, automation, and industrial controls.
- Ability to troubleshoot high-speed manufacturing, processing, or packaging equipment.
- Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and OEM manuals.
- Strong communication, organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or GED; willingness to work varying shifts, weekends, and overtime.
Nice to have
- Vocational, technical school, or Industrial Technology training.
- Industrial maintenance or food manufacturing experience.
- Experience with robotics, high-speed packaging, automated manufacturing equipment, SAP, or maintenance management systems.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and 5S practices.
