Machine Technician (Automotive Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Perform routine and technical production tasks using prescribed methods and procedures.
• Maintain work, product, and process flow within the designated production area.
• Use micrometers, plug gauges, dial indicators, hardness testers, air and electronic gauges, and electronic data-collection equipment.
• Visually inspect and measure manufactured parts and interpret drawings and blueprints.
• Provide guidance and training to lower-skilled personnel while maintaining communication across shifts.
• Identify and immediately report potential safety and environmental hazards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Ability to read and follow detailed instructions for routine tasks.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical computations using decimals and fractions.
• Ability to work independently with limited direct supervision.
• Good organizational and communication skills, including accurate completion of reports and production documents.
