Platform Engineering Leader (Salesforce)

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, recruit, and develop a team of Platform Administrators.
• Define and execute the Salesforce platform strategy, roadmap, adoption, optimization, and technical debt reduction.
• Own enterprise and Salesforce platform administration, delivery, release planning, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Establish governance for access controls, security, data quality, privacy, regulatory compliance, licensing, and platform integrity.
• Drive customizations, workflows, integrations, OpenAPI specifications, data collaboration, and third-party solution evaluations.
• Partner with Product Owners and cross-functional teams in Agile ceremonies, solution reviews, and SAFe planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related field.
• 8+ years of Enterprise or Salesforce Platform Administration or Systems Engineering experience.
• 5+ years of technical leadership and people management experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration, upgrades, release cycles, regulated environments, and financial platforms.
• Experience with Git workflows, pull request reviews, merge conflict resolution, Agile/Scrum, middleware, cross-platform integration patterns, and third-party Salesforce solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience with the SAFe framework.
• Experience with Open Finance Platforms, Fiserv, or other financial platforms.
