Regional Manager - Loss Control (Commercial Auto)

Location: Remote from Pennsylvania or another U.S. location, with 75–80% travel primarily across Ohio, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Salary: $90,000–$100,000 annually, adjusted as applicable for geographic differentials.

What you will do

• Conduct comprehensive loss control surveys and audits for commercial auto accounts, including passenger transportation, trucking, and car rental operations.
• Respond to visit requests and coordinate complex scheduling with policyholders, underwriters, claims staff, and home office personnel.
• Write detailed survey reports with recommendations to improve policyholder operations and conduct follow-up assessments.
• Identify safety and compliance needs, communicate potential visit requirements to underwriters, and support account risk management.
• Monitor transportation regulations and OSHA requirements applicable to the assigned territory.
• Participate in policyholder meetings, seminars, industry events, and safety article development as needed.

Requirements

• At least five years of related safety or loss control experience in the commercial auto industry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, virtual meeting software, and web-based reporting tools.
• Proficiency in Federal Motor Carrier and U.S. DOT regulations, preferably including passenger transportation requirements.
• Strong communication, organizational, scheduling, and report-writing skills.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
• Must be able to travel 75–80%, primarily throughout the assigned Midwest and Eastern states.
