Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Healthcare)

Location: Remote, with the candidate required to live close to one of hirify.global's designated U.S. IT locations: NYC, Louisville, Tampa, Fort Lauderdale, Dallas/Frisco, Boston, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Nashville, Chicago, or Charlotte. Occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required.

Salary: $128,300–$176,400 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Design and build user experiences with TypeScript, React, and Next.js for care teams and patients.
• Render LLM-generated content, structured summaries, and clinical recommendations in trustworthy interface patterns.
• Deliver full-stack features across server-side rendering, API integration, client-side state management, and production deployment.
• Contribute to shared component libraries and maintain design-system consistency.
• Implement WCAG-accessible interfaces and account for clinical users' cognitive demands and patients' varying digital literacy.
• Apply HIPAA-compliant practices for sensitive data display, client-side logging, and session handling while collaborating in code, architecture, and design reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong frontend depth.
• Expert proficiency in TypeScript and React, plus hands-on Next.js experience with App Router, SSR/SSG patterns, and server components.
• Ability to build and consume REST or GraphQL APIs and independently deliver full-stack features.
• Experience applying WCAG accessibility standards and handling sensitive data in frontend contexts.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools or LLM coding harnesses such as Claude Code, Pi Agent, Cursor, or Codex.

Nice to have

• Experience building clinical or healthcare-facing applications.
• Experience with AI/LLM output rendering, including streaming responses, citations, uncertainty display, or structured clinical outputs.
• Experience with design-system-driven collaboration, Python or backend services, or greenfield and early-stage product engineering.
