Senior Solutions Engineer (Auth0)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid, with 2–3 days per week meeting customers or collaborating in the Farringdon office

Salary: £119,000–£160,000 annual OTE, including base salary and incentive compensation

What you will do

• Discover customer requirements and connect technical solutions to business outcomes.
• Partner with sales teams to progress opportunities from discovery through technical win.
• Create sales presentations, product demonstrations, and customer education for technical and executive audiences.
• Build custom demonstrations and support customer-led proof-of-concepts.
• Maintain broad and deep knowledge of Auth0 products, identity protocols, and related technologies.
• Participate in local and regional sales and marketing events and meet customers.

Requirements

• Experience in a pre-sales role such as Sales Engineer or Solutions Engineer.
• Customer-facing experience in consulting, support, teaching, or pre-sales, with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with at least one identity protocol, such as OIDC, OAuth2, SAML, or LDAP.
• Development experience with at least one backend stack and one frontend stack, such as Java, C#, Node, Python, PHP, Ruby, React, Angular, or Vue.
• Experience with REST APIs and SDKs, plus knowledge of application security topics including password hashing, SSL/TLS, encryption at rest, XSS, and XSRF.
• Ability to work around the London office and spend 2–3 days per week with customers or in the Farringdon office.

Nice to have

• Experience with identity and access management, single sign-on, and API-based solutions.
• Understanding of agentic AI and the role of identity in continuous oversight.
• Mobile development experience with iOS or Android.
• Experience with HTTP, HTML, browser developer tools, curl, or Postman.
