What you will do

• Set technical direction for hirify.global's most critical and ambiguous problems across teams and organizational boundaries.
• Make and own architectural decisions shaping the product and platform over multiple years.
• Define the technical strategy for rebuilding the product around AI and agents.
• Raise engineering standards through reusable patterns, design decisions, and technical practices.
• Multiply the impact of senior engineers through design, code review, mentorship, and technical guidance.
• Partner with engineering and product leadership on the company's technology direction.

Requirements

• Proven experience setting technical direction across an entire engineering organization.
• Strong depth in distributed systems and software architecture.
• Expertise in reliability, scalability, and cost tradeoffs for high-impact technical decisions.
• Strong judgment under ambiguity and the influence to align multiple teams.
• Experience multiplying the effectiveness of senior engineers.
• Current fluency in AI-assisted development and a clear perspective on the future of AI in engineering.
