Senior Software Engineer - AI/ML - AI Platform (Python/Golang/LLMs): Building and productionizing AI-native products and core platform capabilities with an accent on LLMs, agentic frameworks, scalable backend services, and operational excellence. Focus on architecting production-grade AI systems, integrating vector databases and cross-platform tool use, and rapidly improving products through performance metrics and user feedback.
Location: London, UK. Applicants must have and maintain the right to work in the United Kingdom from the first day of employment.

What you will do
- Drive the end-to-end delivery of AI-native products from prototypes to scalable production services.
- Architect and productionize core AI platform components, including LLMs, vector databases, prompt tuning, and agentic frameworks.
- Build agent capabilities such as MCP, cross-platform tool use, web browsing, and computer use.
- Enforce technical discipline, operational excellence, and high performance across AI products.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging AI technologies while iterating on products using performance metrics and user feedback.
- Partner with product managers and engineering teams to translate strategic goals into reliable technical solutions.
Requirements
- Extensive professional experience in backend software engineering.
- Expertise with Python, Golang, gRPC, AWS, and Kubernetes.
- Experience owning and shipping complex, production-grade systems.
- Experience shipping and maintaining AI-native products or features, or significant personal AI projects.
- Degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent experience.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom from the first day of employment is required.
Nice to have
- Experience with LLMs and agentic systems.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, Langchain, or MLFlow.
- Advanced understanding of the probabilistic systems underpinning modern LLMs.
- Experience building AI products in accuracy-sensitive domains such as finance.
