Software Engineer - Early Careers (AI): Designing and developing Instabase services, applications, user interfaces, and reusable components across a Go, Python, Java, C++, React, and TypeScript stack with an accent on AI-powered unstructured data solutions and frontend development. Focus on building microservices and platform features, evaluating frontend technologies, and collaborating across engineering, product design, and product management from ideation through production.
Location: San Francisco, CA; hybrid

What you will do
- Collaborate with engineers, product designers, and product managers to deliver features and applications from ideation through production.
- Develop user interfaces, core platform functionality, and reusable components.
- Evaluate frontend libraries and technologies and maintain the frontend stack.
- Build features that other teams can use to develop applications and solutions.
- Contribute to the codebase during the first week and help shape the product UI and direction.
Requirements
- Be enrolled in a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD program in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Applied Mathematics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred graduation date: May 2027–June 2027.
- Proficiency in one or more of Python, Go, React, and REST APIs.
- Demonstrate solid communication, collaboration, and eagerness to learn.
