Materials and Production Planner (Manufacturing)

hirify.global is partnering with a growing manufacturing organisation through its Supply Chain division.

What you will do

• Plan and schedule materials and production to meet demand, quality standards, and distribution timelines.
• Assess stock levels, maintain agreed inventory levels, and reserve raw materials for shop orders.
• Manage production capacity, identify constraints, and communicate schedule risks.
• Determine labour, equipment, and raw material requirements to support production demand.
• Maintain accurate production information in IFS and generate stock, status, and performance reports.
• Work with purchasing and other departments to ensure materials and components are available in the required quantities and at the right time.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role with knowledge of end-to-end production planning processes.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, purchasing, and quality control principles.
• Experience with MRP and working knowledge of ERP systems.
• Working knowledge of MS Office.
• Ability to solve problems, identify improvements, and work accurately and methodically.
• Knowledge of IFS is advantageous but not essential.
