TL;DR
Quality Analyst (AI): Monitoring operational controls, analyzing risks and control gaps, and translating business challenges into requirements for dashboards, workflow orchestration, reporting, and automation solutions with an accent on governance, compliance, and process improvement. Focus on identifying root causes, tracking remediation through closure, designing new controls and metrics, and collaborating with operational leaders and Intelligent Automation teams in an Agile environment.
Location: Bellville, Cape Town, South Africa; hybrid work with travel to the office 6 days per month.

What you will do
- Monitor operational controls, reports, scans, and workflow outputs to identify process, quality, compliance, and service delivery risks.
- Analyze data, trends, and anomalies to identify control gaps, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Partner with operational leaders to validate issues, track remediation plans, and escalate overdue or unresolved actions.
- Identify opportunities for new controls, metrics, reporting, and governance processes.
- Translate manual processes and business challenges into requirements for dashboards, workflow orchestration, reporting, feedback mechanisms, and automation solutions.
- Collaborate with process engineers and Intelligent Automation teams in an Agile environment to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Master’s degree, or bachelor’s degree with 2 years of related experience, or high school diploma with 5 years of related experience.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skills.
- Understanding of operational controls, risk management, governance, data interpretation, and control-gap analysis.
- Ability to drive accountability across stakeholders, manage multiple remediation efforts, and work independently in a complex, matrixed organization.
- Working knowledge of continuous improvement, process re-engineering, intelligent automation, and Agile collaboration.
- Ability to work in the hybrid model in Bellville/Cape Town, South Africa, with office attendance 6 days per month.
