IT Business Analyst - Quality Assurance

Location: Hybrid; external candidates must reside within 30 miles of an office in Centennial, CO; Lincoln, NE; Madison, WI; Boise, ID; or Brownsville, TX. The standard schedule includes 24 hours of in-office work each week. Internal associates working remotely may be considered.

Salary: $55,000–$120,000 annual compensation, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Analyze business systems, user needs, business processes, and requirements.
• Document requirements, system changes, scenarios, acceptance criteria, and system specifications.
• Drive quality assurance activities, including functional, system integration, regression, data, interface, and user acceptance testing.
• Create and maintain test plans, manual and automated test scripts, execute test cycles, and analyze results.
• Report, prioritize, and track defects while communicating testing outcomes and usability feedback.
• Lead UAT and collaborate with clients, operations, testers, development teams, and other technical groups, including after-hours release support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst, or detailed knowledge of several system functions.
• Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet tools, SQL, HTML, Adobe Acrobat, and internet technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, interpersonal, consensus-building, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required; foreign-national security clearance applications are not being accepted.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work effectively with technical staff and clients in a team-oriented environment.
