Senior Technical Business Analyst (AI)

Location: United States; remote or hybrid work options. Availability to work Central Time hours is required. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

What you will do

• Partner with product owners and business users to uncover, clarify, and document application requirements for digital modernization initiatives.
• Translate business and technical findings into user stories, workflow diagrams, acceptance criteria, and backlog documentation.
• Analyze API-driven integrations, request and response flows, SQL queries, data relationships, and expected outputs.
• Research existing functionality across Jira, Confluence, Figma, GitHub, and live products to build context and identify open questions.
• Collaborate with developers, QA testers, business analysts, and business users to resolve ambiguity, define functional test criteria, and guide User Acceptance Testing.
• Use AI tools, including Claude, to improve daily work, share best practices, and support consistent requirements and documentation practices.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in technical business analysis, requirements analysis, and software development lifecycle practices.
• Experience creating user stories, workflow diagrams, acceptance criteria, requirements documentation, and delivery oversight materials.
• Understanding of API-driven integrations, SQL queries, data relationships, and backend service behavior.
• Consultative problem-solving skills, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to lead, mentor, present, and coach others.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools or a strong willingness to experiment with and champion AI adoption; Claude Certified Developer or Architect experience is highly preferred.
• Experience supporting regulated or high-compliance environments and working effectively in evolving, high-growth organizations.
