TL;DR
Business Analyst (Healthcare Systems/Case Management): Supporting modernization of case management, quality management, investigations, operations, and legal systems with an accent on requirements gathering, workflow documentation, and stakeholder engagement. Focus on analyzing current- and future-state processes, supporting integration, regression, and user acceptance testing, and coordinating business and technical teams throughout the SDLC.

What you will do
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, requirements-gathering sessions, and design workshops.
- Document business, functional, and system requirements, use cases, user stories, specifications, and supporting documentation.
- Analyze current- and future-state processes and create workflow diagrams, process maps, and gap analyses.
- Support application modernization initiatives, vendor evaluations, solution assessments, and implementation planning.
- Serve as a liaison between business users, technical teams, project managers, developers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders.
- Support test planning, execution, and validation, including integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of IT, business analysis, or related experience, including 3 years on large system implementation or modernization projects.
- Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements, use cases, user stories, business processes, and workflow diagrams.
- Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings and requirements workshops.
- Experience supporting testing and validation activities.
- Strong analytical, organizational, documentation, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Nice to have
- Experience with case management, human services, healthcare, Medicaid, CMS programs, government, or public-sector organizations.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, SDLC processes, and system modernization projects.
- Azure DevOps experience.
- Understanding of relational databases and data modeling.
