Water & Wastewater Engineering Project Manager

Location: San Diego, California; hybrid work between an office and field environment

Projected compensation: $160–$180+

What you will do

• Lead water and wastewater infrastructure projects from concept through completion, including planning, design, and delivery.
• Develop project work plans, budgets, resource allocations, forecasts, invoicing, and profitability analyses.
• Manage project execution, risks, scope, schedules, contracts, negotiations, change orders, and documentation.
• Lead client presentations, workshops, stakeholder meetings, and strategic infrastructure planning discussions.
• Coordinate engineering, environmental, planning, and construction teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Support business development through proposals, project pursuits, interviews, and identification of new opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in civil, environmental, chemical, or a related engineering discipline.
• 10+ years of water and wastewater engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Ability to work in a hybrid office and field environment in San Diego, California, including occasional exposure to weather, noise, hazardous conditions, and bodies of water.
• Ability to perform the physical duties of the role, operate a company vehicle when needed, and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35 lbs.
