HR Business Partner (Automotive)

Location: Novi, Michigan, USA

Salary: $161,250–$236,500 per year, with potential additional compensation such as bonuses or commissions.

What you will do

• Partner with senior business leaders on talent priorities, HR matters, and strategic business needs.
• Translate business strategies into actionable talent initiatives that support business results.
• Advise leaders on tailored HR solutions and improve the employee experience.
• Use data and evidence to identify talent trends, patterns, correlations, and root causes.
• Promote workforce planning, workforce optimization, and culture initiatives.
• Support HR technology adoption, automation, self-service capabilities, and collaboration with Centers of Excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
• At least 7 years of HR experience.
• Experience working in highly matrixed, global, and diverse environments.
• Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, critical thinking, coaching, and strategic consulting skills.
• Experience with project management, financial oversight, business acumen, and budgetary responsibilities.
• Experience with employee relations, including union and works council engagement, and knowledge of local HR legislation.

Nice to have

• Business or industry knowledge.
• Professional HR certification or training in Six Sigma, project management, or change management.
• Additional language skills.
