Flow Simulation & Cost Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Define and validate Target Production Time and provide an overview of workstations, operations, and production times.
• Plan, model, and optimize production flows, factory layouts, and line layouts for scalable volume manufacturing.
• Develop and run discrete event production-flow simulations using FlexSim.
• Perform time studies with MTM and/or REFA methodologies.
• Model capacity and analyze alternative processes, layouts, and volume scenarios.
• Estimate production costs and collaborate with Production, Process Technology, Product Development Engineering, and Controlling.

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field; relevant experience may compensate.
• Documented experience with discrete event simulation, preferably FlexSim.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, production flows, and capacity planning.
• Experience with cost analysis and cost estimation.
• Analytical problem-solving and data interpretation skills.
• Experience with MTM and/or REFA time measurement methods.
