Field Service Engineer (Ocean Technology)

Location: Horten, Norway, with substantial worldwide travel

What you will do

• Install and commission underwater acoustic systems on vessels and in shipyards worldwide.
• Perform maintenance and service work on installed systems aboard sailing ships and offshore installations.
• Provide technical support and on-call or remote service to internal and external customers.
• Represent hirify.global when supporting worldwide maritime customers.
• Travel approximately 120 days per year on average.

Requirements

• Engineering degree such as B.Sc. or B.Eng. in electronics, instrumentation, computer science, or a higher professional degree.
• Good IT, PC, and network skills.
• Good oral and written English and Norwegian are required.
• Strong motivation for worldwide support activities.
• Experienced and non-experienced engineers are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to work independently, plan systematically, prioritize clearly, communicate precisely, and collaborate effectively.
