TL;DR
Senior Electronics Engineer (Robotics): Developing electronics, PCBs, and motor drives for AutoStore Workstations and Ports with an accent on analog and digital electronics, power electronics, BLDC motor control, and full-lifecycle product development. Focus on taking technical ownership, integrating electronics across the AutoStore system, and preparing designs for compliance, testing, and high-volume production.

Location: Oslo (Lysaker), Norway, or Vindafjord (Nedre Vats), Norway. Relocation to Norway is required.

hirify.global develops the hirify.global automated storage and retrieval system, including Workstations and Ports for handling goods.

What you will do

  • Take technical ownership of electronics development for Workstations and Ports, including motor drive design and integration with other hirify.global hardware.
  • Develop and validate electronics solutions across the product portfolio and system architecture.
  • Coordinate electronics activities within cross-functional New Product Development teams and track technical deliverables.
  • Maintain technical documentation, project plans, and milestones.
  • Support the full product lifecycle from concepts and prototypes through testing, compliance, and mass production.
  • Provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in electronics engineering, including analog and digital electronics, power electronics, and motor drive design or BLDC motor control.
  • Hands-on experience across the full PCB development lifecycle, including architecture, schematic design, layout, bring-up, testing, fault finding, and production release.
  • Experience with EMC, DFM, DFT, compliance, and high-volume production in complex electromechanical products.
  • Experience with Altium, LTspice, MATLAB/Simulink, STM32 microcontrollers, bus systems, and sensors.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Embedded Systems, Cybernetics/Robotics, or a related field.
  • Ability to relocate to Norway and work from the Oslo or Vindafjord site.
