AUTOSAR Software Architect / Senior Embedded Software Engineer (f/m/d) Smart Leveling Systems

What you will do

• Lead embedded software development across requirements analysis, architecture, implementation, integration, testing, and release.
• Derive software requirements and architectural concepts from customer and system requirements.
• Define, configure, and further develop AUTOSAR Classic software architectures.
• Develop and review Embedded C software for microcontroller-based systems.
• Define and coordinate interfaces between software, electronics, and system components.
• Coordinate integration, debugging, testing, root cause analysis, and technical collaboration with external partners and distributed engineering teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable field.
• Professional experience in requirements engineering and automotive embedded software development.
• Strong practical knowledge of AUTOSAR Classic architectures and relevant components.
• Programming skills in Embedded C, plus knowledge of microcontrollers, operating systems, automotive communication, and diagnostic protocols such as CAN.
• Experience with software integration, embedded debugging, root cause analysis, and requirements-based testing, ideally with tools such as CANoe.
• Knowledge of ASPICE and ISO 26262, with the ability to coordinate complex technical topics across teams, partners, and stakeholders. Very good English skills at minimum C1 are required.
