Lead Embedded Systems Security Architect

What you will do

• Own the security roadmap for core GNSS receivers.
• Design secure workflows, security frameworks, and networking protocols for embedded positioning systems.
• Act as the technical authority on cybersecurity issues, identifying weaknesses and coordinating vulnerability resolution.
• Define software architectures deployable across multiple operating systems.
• Translate security requirements into high-performance product features with Product Marketing and hirify.global divisions.
• Coordinate secure communication between embedded products, the hirify.global Cloud team, and international R&D hubs.

Requirements

• Expertise in designing secure workflows and defensive security measures for embedded environments.
• Deep understanding of networking and communication protocols.
• Significant experience with C/C++ and real-time operating systems, including mutexes, semaphores, and task priorities.
• Solid knowledge of Embedded Linux and Linux distributions.
• Ability to collaborate with non-technical stakeholders and communicate security requirements clearly.
• Ability to work in Munich, Germany.

Nice to have

• Experience with GNSS or high-precision positioning technology.
• Knowledge of secure cloud-to-device integration.
• Experience modernizing legacy systems into next-generation software architectures.
