Embedded Software Engineer FCS & FMS (f/m/d) (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Develop and optimize high-integrity, safety-critical embedded software for the Eurodrone Flight Control System and Flight Management System.
• Design, simulate, and implement complex control laws and system behaviors using Model-Based Development workflows.
• Contribute to the full software lifecycle, from architectural design and modeling through testing and verification.
• Apply DO-178C standards and other relevant safety practices to flight-critical functions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary aerospace and software teams to solve challenges in autonomous flight.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience in embedded software development, ideally with C, and a strong understanding of real-time constraints.
• Experience or strong interest in Model-Based Development workflows, such as ANSYS Scade or MATLAB/Simulink.
• Understanding of high-integrity environments and safety standards such as DO-178C or similar.
• Proactive approach to solving complex and previously unsolved problems in autonomy and flight control.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
