Software Implementation Engineer

Location: Hybrid/on-site in Rostock, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany.

What you will do

• Implement software routines on maritime hardware and test them on unmanned surface and underwater vessels.
• Adapt hardware interfaces to software.
• Adapt UAV software to control USVs and UUVs.
• Implement swarm functionalities on USVs and UUVs.
• Integrate core software technology into maritime products and integrate maritime products into the MOSAIC system.
• Collaborate with hardware and software development stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree in hardware-based software engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience implementing software in autonomous vehicles.
• English communication skills.
• Self-motivated approach and ability to independently drive an area of responsibility forward.
• Open, communicative, friendly, and competent working manner.
• Interest in advancing technology.
