AIT Test Technician (Satellite Propulsion)

Location: Delft, South Holland, Netherlands; travel to customer facilities for integration and support is expected.

What you will do

• Assemble, integrate, and test satellite propulsion systems ranging from CubeSat to 1-tonne class.
• Write integration procedures, test procedures, and test reports.
• Procure equipment and perform quality control and acceptance testing of incoming goods.
• Manage in-house and external manufacturing activities.
• Coordinate with System Design Engineers to maintain accurate and complete production data.
• Schedule and communicate production activities and manage customer handover and delivery.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on AIT experience with highly complex systems such as semiconductor equipment, satellites, astronomy equipment, flight simulators, or aircraft.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and engineering professionals.
• Ability to work effectively both collaboratively and independently.
• Ability to adapt quickly and positively to change.

Nice to have

• Experience working with an ISO 9001-compliant quality management system.
• Production process development experience, such as Lean or Six Sigma.
