What you will do

• Lead engineering for MonieCRM, an in-house workforce operations platform supporting a 50,000-person field sales network.
• Modernise and re-architect legacy systems serving more than 20 million users.
• Build and operate high-throughput, data-intensive distributed systems for sales, marketing, partner management, rewards, and retention.
• Ensure accurate commission calculation, attribution, wallet, cashout, and welfare-fund operations at network scale.
• Oversee the marketing technology stack, including Braze engineering and customisation.
• Develop a high-performing engineering organisation with strong managers and senior engineers.

Requirements

• 10–15 years of software engineering experience, including at least 5 years leading engineering teams through growth phases.
• At least 5 years of hands-on, production-level Java experience, with proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• At least 5 years managing managers and leading engineering organisations through other engineering leaders.
• Proven platform engineering experience with complex distributed systems, legacy migrations, and re-architecture at 20M+ user scale.
• Experience managing and developing engineering teams of 20 or more members.
• Strong backend engineering skills; experience with financial correctness, commissions, payouts, wallets, or ledgers is advantageous.

• Fintech or payments experience.
• CRM or SalesTech experience.
• Exposure to customer engagement or marketing automation platforms such as Braze.

Hiring process

• 60-minute high-level system design interview with an Engineering Manager.
• 60-minute panel interview covering technical experience, a previously built system, and leadership attributes.
• Stakeholder management interview, followed by a technical and culture-fit interview with the Co-founder and Group CTO.
