Director of Product (AI)

Location: Toronto, Canada. Remote-first role with the option to work abroad for up to 40 days per year.

Salary: CA$180,000–CA$210,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead the product team in building a differentiated workflow engine for professional photographers.
• Build and launch AI-first products using vertical expertise, customer insights, and existing data foundations.
• Drive the AI transformation of product discovery and delivery, including adoption of Spec-Driven Development.
• Partner with Marketing, Customer Success, and Engineering to align product direction with customer outcomes.
• Use product innovation to improve customer experience and generate measurable GMV growth.
• Provide balanced leadership through ambiguity and drive initiatives through to measurable impact.

Requirements

• Experience leading a product team in a 100–500 FTE scale-up environment.
• Proven experience building and launching AI-driven products with measurable business or customer impact.
• Technical depth in using data and legacy product insights to develop modern product solutions.
• Strong understanding of Vertical SaaS and e-commerce growth.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and customer-centric product design skills.
• Experience introducing product methodologies such as Spec-Driven Development and coaching teams to use them.
