What you will do
- Own annual planning and forecasting for Marketing, including budget setting and consolidation into company plans.
- Partner with Marketing budget owners across demand generation, brand, community, product marketing, and events.
- Manage program spend rigorously, including agency contracts and event commitments.
- Model demand creation and funnel metrics with Marketing Ops and RevOps across PLG and SLG motions.
- Assess CAC, payback, pipeline contribution, and ROI using attribution and incrementality testing.
- Build investment cases for brand and community spend and drive in-year reallocations.
- Collaborate with Marketing Ops, RevOps, Data, and Controlling to align financial views and reporting.
- Translate financial reporting into insights and recommendations for leadership and board audiences.
Requirements
- 7+ years FP&A or strategic finance experience in technology or B2B SaaS
- Experience leading complex multi-entity planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Deep marketing finance partnering experience across PLG and SLG demand motions
- Fluency in funnel economics including CAC, payback, CLV/CAC, and pipeline attribution
- Comfort owning program spend including agency and vendor economics
- Strong financial modeling and executive communication skills
- AI and automation mindset with experience using platforms like
- Developer-focused or open-source product company experience preferred
- Comfort with SQL and data self-sufficiency
- Experience with marketing and RevOps tools such as HubSpot, Marketo, GA4, Salesforce
- Ability to work remotely with strong English proficiency (C1)
