Fuselage Strategic Procurement R&T Lead (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Lead, coordinate, and define fuselage-focused Research & Technology activities within Procurement Aerostructures.
• Develop fuselage sourcing strategies, action plans, supplier involvement plans, and R&T programme objectives for future aircraft programmes.
• Represent Procurement Aerostructures in fuselage forums, technical alignment meetings, R&T networks, and governance reviews.
• Manage the Fuselage R&T multidisciplinary functional team, R&T tracking, eAction and ZEROe activities, and ASCOT initiatives.
• Conduct partner down-selection and negotiate, manage, and monitor research agreements throughout innovation, development, serial, and support phases.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance across logistics, quality, cost, claims, capital expenditure, and contract lifecycle risks.

Requirements

• Experience in procurement or a strong technical background in airframes and aerostructures.
• Successful experience working in intercultural teams and with partner representatives and internal stakeholders.
• Effective project management, communication, presentation, negotiation, commercial, and contractual skills.
• Curiosity about the aerostructure market, technologies, and innovation.
• Proactive, autonomous, adaptable approach with the ability to work in a fast-changing environment.
• Negotiation-level English is required.
