Senior Buyer In-Flight Connectivity (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Define and execute procurement strategies for in-flight connectivity systems in line with business objectives and the technology roadmap.
• Manage the full procurement cycle, including market analysis, tender processes, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
• Negotiate pricing, intellectual property rights, service-level agreements, and other contractual terms.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, legal, and program teams to align procurement with project timelines.
• Monitor market trends, technology developments, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and reduce supply-chain risks.
• Drive cost reduction, process optimization, and resolution of complex supplier claims or disputes.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in strategic procurement focused on complex technical systems; aerospace or telecommunications experience is preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of in-flight connectivity technologies, including satellite communication, air-to-ground systems, Wi-Fi, and connectivity hardware and software.
• Proven expertise in contract negotiation and supplier management.
• Experience with procurement software or ERP systems such as SAP.
• Negotiation-level English required; French or German is a plus.
